Recent ambient collaborative sound works can be found on the dispersed holdings cassette label, and on the dispersed holdings soundcloud. dispersed holdings (Sal Randolph and David Richardson, with others) performed regularly in the dispersed holdings listening and publication space on the Bowery in New York, at Audra Wolowiec’s studio, and at Mengi in Reykjavik, Iceland.

In the early 2000s electroacoustic guitar and laptop band, WMD (Sharilyn Neidhart and Sal Randolph) played regularly at venues in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and appeared at Pianos in Manhattan and Art Interactive in Cambridge, MA. In 2005 WMD toured and played at the Swan in the Rushes in Loughborough, UK, Rotari in Offenbach am Main, Germany, Rocket Shop, Berlin, Germany, among other venues. The piece California was featured in the 2005 film, Streets of Wonderland.
